My 4th grader daughter had submit a project work for school exhibition. The school wanted a 3-D model. We decided to make use of an old thermacol from TV packaging and use paper mache to give the natural effect. The mountains were also thermacol pieces. We covered it with paper mache and applied brown color.
For animals, trees and buildings, factories and farmers we took print outs of clipart images.To give the 3-D effect we took two prints of same image one original and the other was flipped horizontally.
Between the two print we glued the thermacol. Then we used paper cutter to make cutouts of farmer and other shapes.
For river and farm we use paper mache to create texture. The crops were colored chickpeas.
An fishes were cutouts of prints.
The result was awesome. Here is the final project
